October 12, 2020 - Nada Enchilada

Last week we did our usual service at the gardens and we got to trim back the old flowers and pull weeds. The flowers were taller than me and it was so fun. On Saturday we went to Hermann Park to do our studies and this couple came up to us and talked about how their daughter was serving in Eugene Oregon. And then the lady took a picture of us and sent it to our moms. I think that made mine and my mom's day 😂. Then that night we went to clean the church and when we walked in we scared the crap out of Bishop Farfan it was HILARIOUS. We all had a good laugh.

We had our last Friday Devotional with David Butler and wow that man is my favorite person ever. He was talking about the Second Coming of Christ and how we shouldn't be scared of it, we should be excited! He then shared a story about this lady who would always sit on her front porch, watching the sunrise and would say, "maybe today" every single morning. No one knows when He will come again, but we need to be ready. Because what if He's waiting on us to be ready for Him? Just something to think about (thank you for that Brad Wilcox).
And the title: we call this one guy named Hermano Alex a lot and he always gives us some "tex-mex" sayings and nada enchilada was the one he gave us last week 👍🏻

Love yalls
