January 25, 2021 - 6️⃣0️⃣ waffle bowls

 Last week was awesome! We did a lot and we had a really awesome miracle. So we haven't been able to in contact with our friends Patrick and Robert so we decided that we'd go over to their home and bring them a little treat or something (we usually meet with them at Cindy and Lupe's (their grandparents)). So we pull up their address and get there and we see that it's a RV park/lot thing with like 14 trailers and it was dark. So we decided to pray to know which one was theirs and then walked down them. We came up to this one that had a bunch of propane tanks underneath it and then I remembered Cindy talking about them needing more propane so I pointed at that one and Hna Terry was like yeah! So we knocked on the door and PATRICK ANSWERED THE DOOR so we talked to him for a few minutes and gave him the candy. God is good. 

We also have been teaching this lady named Lynette and we had an awesome lesson with her and she texted us afterwards and asked if we could come by twice this week which is a big deal for her! 

I've kinda been thinking a little about the holy ghost lately and how many different ways we can it and how it can help us. A couple weeks ago me and Hermana Terry had an experience driving home after a late lesson and we pulled over to fix our music. It was pitch dark outside and all of the sudden both of us had the strongest feeling to get out of there, so we did. I dont know what could've or would've happened if we hadn't gotten out of there but I dont think I want to know what it could've been. But then I had the experience with finding Patrick where I remembered something and felt like that was the right trailer. And then when I finished the Book of Mormon a month ago the holy ghost helped me to know and feel that it was true and that it testifies of Christ.

 I know that the holy ghost can help us in so many ways whether to warn us, help is remember something, to help us know something is true, etc.  I am so thankful for it and all the guidance I've had.

 the lady on the couch is Melanie and she is HILARIOUS, it was Stacy's birthday so we brought her a mini cake and some presents, we got pizza from domino's to put waffle bowls in the pizza box for the delivery man to deliver it to the elders, the baby cow (Heidi) was 2 days old and had the most on fleek eyelashes I've ever seen in my life, and our friend Patricia gave us 60 waffle bowls so naturally we pranked the elders.

  Anddd another long week haha but this one was fun! Our friend Jaqueline wants to be baptized so that is so so awesome! She really wants her family to be involved too so we are going to teach her family this Saturday.  We are helping 3 other people prepare for baptism. Jacob is going to get baptized on the 27th with his sister and I'm so excited for him!  I got to go on exchanges with Sister Stone and we got to paint someone's dresser and barstools. Good times. I love her. We had our ward Trunk-or-Treat and we were elders haha. I think we won the costume contest.  Heres a scripture I really loved this week: Mosiah 5:12 "I say unto you, I would that ye should remember to retain the name written always in your hearts, that ye are not found on the left hand of God, but that ye hear and know the voice by which ye shall be called, and also, the name by which he shall call you" Love yall!

November 22, 2021 - Las Vaqueras de Houston

  Last week was amazing!! I got to go to the temple twice- once with Lili and then the next day with the other missionaries that are going home with me. It was so fun. Lili loved it!! When I was at the temple with the other missionaries, I read in Luke and this verse stood out to me- Luke 1:79 "To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace" This is why we have a prophet today and why we need our Savior- to show us the way back home to our Heavenly Father. I also got to go on exchanges with Hna Davis! We went and ate at this members house. She was showing us that she painted her fingernails green. Then a few minutes later she opened the fridge and her green salsa fell an her feet... after helping her clean it up she looked at us and said "look now my toes are painted green too". It was funny. November 15, 2021 - Consider the Lilies of the field

  LILI GOT BAPTIZED ON SATURDAY AND IT WAS AMAZING. AND we're going to the temple on Thursday with her to do baptisms for the dead. WE'RE SO EXCITED.  Wow a lot happened last week. Lili got baptized, we had our Zone conference, we had exchanges, we had service at this place called Reigning Strength where kids with autism go and ride horses to learn how to balance, talk, etc. It's incredible.  At zone conference, one of our leaders, President Rascon, said that the best leaders are the best followers. I love that so much. Christ is the best leader. But He also followed God's commandments perfectly. Sometimes we think we can only be one or the other, but why not both? That's where we can learn the most and have a lot of experience but also still be humble enough to take people's counsel and advise.  God is so good. Texas is awesome.
