  Okay now this was a CRAZY week. It all started out with a fun exchange with Hna Jensen. Love her. We got some delicious sushi and met some cool people out in Jones Creek. When we exchanged back at the church, I got out my phone to take a picture with my girls but sis Stone beat me to it and so I put my phone on the hood of my car and we took the picture. We said goodbye and went back to our apartment. Thats when it hit me: I LEFT MY PHONE ON THE HOOD So we rushed back and searched the parking lot and along the road and nada. Many prayers were said. The next day we had district council and I told them at the end that I had lost my phone. Then Elder Nelson was like yo we can track your phone through your Google account. AND SURE ENOUGH! WE FOUND MY PHONE....In north Houston.... So we filed a police report and all that good stuff and we didn't really hear about it. Then that night we went to the church to prepare for zone conference and I thought of looking at where my phone was aga...

  Another long but short week! We ate a lot of good food so that's always a bonus. Our friend Dean took us to this sushi place. 😏. If you know me, I  l o v e  sushi. It was pretty darn good. And Dean is working on getting his temple recommend and patriarchal blessing. So cool! Sis Vlam and I did our studies at this really pretty park and THERE WERE HILLS. So, naturally, we frolicked across them. It was a good time. Then we fed our duck friends some cheerios. I almost got to pet one but he was too quick. Next time! We have Zone Conference this week so we've been planning that with the Zone leaders. We're going to talk about commitments and covenants. It's actually been pretty cool to study. Commitment is key for a lot of things. It's just like playing a sport. You gotta prioritize it, practice, and give 110% in games. Same thing with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. You gotta read the scriptures, pray, go to church, keep the commandments, defend it, etc. So cool. Love ya...

  Our cute friend Robert got baptized on Saturday! That was my second time meeting with him in person haha but I love him hes so so so sweet. It was so stressful putting everything together but it all turned out good. After the baptism, Bishop Niko (love him- hes hilarious) took Sis Vlam and I to a vietnamese restaurant and pho is my new favorite thing.  Eldridge Park is a party- there's a lot of work to do. We met this girl named Mina while we were visiting someone and she wants to learn more. Shes super sweet and we're gonna cook some gumbo or something this Saturday. I'm excited. We had MLC (mission leadership conference) on Friday and it was so good. We started making plans for our zone conferences and we're also going to be going to the temple in a couple weeks too!!!   Well I got transferred to Eldrige Park which is above Sugar Land. Adios Galveston! I'm excited but nervous to be in this new area. But funny thing- I'm an STL with Sister Vlam! She was in my first district so I already know her. We're gonna have a blast. Hna Lingen stayed in Galveston Galveston shes training!! Shes gonna be awesome.  Last week was good. We found this cool guy named Burton. He was a referral and we invited him to a dinner with some members of our congregation and he came!! So cool! He said he doesnt believe in coincidences and that God was leading him to where he needed to be. Amen Burton!  He also came to church! I just LOVE IT when people realize that God DOES see them and that God DOES have a plan for them.  It was sad to say goodbye to the members in Galveston- I'm already excited to go back some day to visit them. But I'm ready to serve here in Eldridge Park wahoooo! Love yall 🤠
